Page 4 of 6 Performance Analysis - GraphicsIn the following graph we see the performance of both cards under the different drivers. This shows a lead for the overclocked GTX but stellar performance from the 2900XT. In the DirectX10 performance, we see a similar trend with the GTX holding out against the 2900XT. Do remember to take into account the surface and actor detail bug.

All in all, a fine showing from both sides, much in contrast to the performance seen in recent games, especially of the DirectX10 variety. This should serve as a breath of fresh air to those currently owning a DX10 compatible graphics card that their money was not wasted (based on previous DX10 game performance and rumours of DX10.1 compatibility).
