BioShock's developers have made a semi-big thing about it supporting and making use of dual core processors, so much so that a Core 2 Duo is on the 'recommended' specifications. We took a screenshot of the processor usage playing through the beginning of the demo until you start decending down into Rapture. | |

Interesting results. The HD2900XT DX10 graph clearly shows less burden on the CPU due to the graphics bug. Whether this has a positive impact on the DX10 framerate overall is hard to tell, but we're all hoping for a patch to solve the bug in the first place. The rest of the graphs look fairly similar with no major differences. The major note is that the game is multithreaded - it's certainly working both cores!
