DirectX 10 on Windows XP? PDF Print E-mail

Most of you will have been thinking DirectX 10 is the only real reason to upgrade to Windows Vista. Up until today, you would be correct. New developments seem to show that it's possible to get DirectX 10 running on Windows XP, so all you gaming geeks can get your DX10 loveliness without having to suffer the performance hit of running Vista.

Last night I installed and updated to Windows XP Pro SP3 (SP3 not required, but why not?) but the important thing was I was successfully able to get DirectX 10 showing up in "dxdiag". I didn't have much time so there's no testing yet but it certainly seemed to work. Check it out...
